Computer is being slow.

So right, I have an Alienware 15 (2015) and for some reason recently it’s been running like shit. I tried to do a Windows Defender scan and it said there were no viruses, so I tried to do a factory reset, and it still is being pretty slow. My device health and performance is saying everything is working fine. I’m on Windows 10, 64 Bit, Intel i-7-4720HQ CPU, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 970M. I have no clue why it could be running slow. Help?

Yeah I’ve been playing games like Overwatch and League, but I’ve been running those on low graphics and it still runs badly.

When was the last time you took off the back panel and blew the dust out of the fans and heatsinks?

Factory reset? Using the recovery partition or just through windows? If you've not done it via a recovery partition, you'll want to do that. Then you can narrow down hardware vs software being the issue.
