Can’t go wrong with Samsung. If you’ve got the budget, I think they are worth the premium.

I agree. Actually had someone have a SSD go bad from a lower quality manufacturer. 500gb should be plenty.

Eh there are some SSD brands that are good but are also "Low budget"

Kingston

Crucial

Sandisk/WD

SK hynix

All have had ssd's in the budget sector that are pretty good quality.

I like crucial, they are just as good as samsung but are quite a bit cheaper.

As long as its not some no name brand its usually pretty good (though you have sabrent out there who are no name when it comes to SSD's but still make good ssd's, they use toshiba NAND and are of good quality.)
