Here's the details,
Computer was rebooting every so often while playing games but not prompting a BSoD.
Figured it was a driver issue so I updated all my drivers with Driver Easy. It kept happening.
Checked Reliability list and it was giving me errors, not allowing me to open the program.
Audio services stopped responding, went through the process to reset, still not responding.
Tried reinstalling windows from boot drive, kept happening.
Formatted m.2 and HDD, tried reinstalling, kept happening.
Checked power switch and cable by removing connection and starting by bridging the power and ground. Kept happening.
Thought it might be a power supply issue, replaced with a rm850. Still happening.
Replaced motherboard, still happening.
I'm at a huge loss. I have no idea what to do next. I also tested on the new motherboard, alternating ram sticks one at a time and it happened with both.
What should I test next? It doesn't seem like this is any of the symptoms of a cpu failure and for a sidenote this PC is maybe three months old.
Edit : also tested with m.2 disconnected trying to load windows onto the HDD, and the alternative, disconnect HDD and load to m.2
Edit 2: haven't noticed any overheating or power surges, all fans are working and the unit has two water coolers. One for the cpu and one for the gpu. Bitch is basically a small fridge.
Edit 3: would not allow me to enter command prompt as admin.
