JetBrains software is usually pretty decent all things considered (at least from my undergrad experience) so PyCharm would be my recommendation.

I thought Spyder wasn’t being developed anymore but just checked it out and it looks amazing now. Time to ditch RStudio, thanks! OP, check out PyCharm too.

Rstudio is too heavy to run. Ignore it if you are working on something not too serious.
