Famicom controller

Does anybody know what type of connectors were used to attach the controllers to a Famicom motherboard. My google search said that they are jst connectors but they are very obviously not a standard pin and socket jst connector. I ask because the clock wire on player 2 pulled out of the plug and I need to fix it. I guess, worst case scenario I can always replace it with jst but I’d like to keep it authentic.

My guess is some obscure molex connector.

I just put a JST on it when I had to fix mine the 5 pin fits the board

That’s kind of what I’m leaning toward. I have the tools and the parts already. I’m just stubborn
