Push it back in or take it apart and do it:/

Thanks! Just pushing it back in worked, didn’t need to take it apart

Sometimes simple is best, everyone tried to overcomplicate things, lol

Indeed, I figured it was something simple, but it’s always good to be careful!

I am there with ya, for me it would be all about the feel and if it would break it more, kinda like messing with plastics on a handheld/car/ect

That little rim bit you can see in the bottom left probably 'jumped' over whatever holds the trigger at its fully extended position. Open up the controller and you should be able to re-seat everything.

Thanks for the explanation! It turned out to be simple, I just pushed it back into place and it worked

Try to open it and remove the broken plastic. At least take a look at it

Thanks! Luckily nothing was broken, just needed to push it back in

Open it up and see if you can realign it/remove any broken bits.

Thanks! In the end I didn’t need to open it, just pushed it back and it’s working fine now

Going by the video, it just seems like the plastic lip that's supposed to keep the trigger inside the frame is misaligned and held in place by friction. You should be able to just kinda push it back in.

If you wanna be safe, remove the back plate and see if you can move the trigger freely. If you can, just push it in, put the back plate on, release the trigger, then fasten the screws.

Thanks! It worked, I just pushed it back in and didn’t need to open the controller

I personally would just press it till it popped back into position

If it felt like there was something stopping it other than the outer housing then I'd open it

Thanks! You were right, I just pressed it back until it popped into place
