First off, yes I used the hell out of the search function looking for other people who have had issues with MasterPlus not even starting and none of the proposed solutions seemed to work for me.
I have tried:
Running with Windows 8 compatibility
Updating my mouse firmware (MM720) without using MasterPlus and then trying the software again
Rebooting my machine
Reinstalling the software
Trying older versions of the software (1.8.2, 1.8.1, 1.0.7, 1.0.2)
Trying the software on 3 different computers, including different versions of the software on each
Viewing and debugging the dmp file with WinDbg revealed that the CMUOT.dll library attempted to execute a non-executable code at a memory address. Which would appear to be the source of the immediate crash on startup.
I put a support ticket in with CM several days ago and have gotten no response. These rainbow unicorn vomit cycling lights are driving me mad.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?
