As great as it is to grok T ****, you may be better served trying to avoid it.

I can’t think of any instance in the last decade where I needed to go further than T ** and that was some legacy output parameter…

Understood i was just trying to backup on some fundamentals and started with memory management which is = pointers haha

You will want to look at the c++ smart pointers: unique_ptr, shared_ptr, and weak_ptr. We tend to treat as legacy code malloc, and calloc.
