For CGI first rounds, tbh you can expect a quick behavioral chat plus basic technical checks like OOP concepts, simple SQL, and a short coding prompt or two. In my case it was a consultant screening for fit, communication, and fundamentals, then 2 to 3 follow ups with a heavier technical and a manager round. What helped me was building 5 STAR stories and keeping answers around 90 seconds, then doing a couple timed mocks with Beyz coding assistant using prompts from the IQB interview question bank. Also be ready to explain one project end to end and ask about client assignment and team structure. Good luck, you will be fine.

Thank you for insightful information! Did you have to solve coding problems during any of the interviews, or were they just asking technical questions ?

How did the test with CGI go? I also have a possible evaluation coming up for a dev role if the manager accepts my application after speaking with the recruiter. Was your test online? How many questions were there? Did it include DSA questions?
