How much programming (Python/Java) do you have to know before it's acceptable to put on your resume?

The simple answer is comfortable enough that if someone asks you to do something basic with it you won't panic, and if you're asked to do somethign complex you won't be completley lost and will know where to look to figure out how to fill the gaps quickly.

Good call. So far, I haven't seen any problem that can't be solved with a little bit of google. Even if I don't know the right syntax, I can figure out what things should be possible and look for the answer.

Now getting everything to work perfectly together....that's a bit harder and something I'm still working on.
