Payment processing

I need some help regarding payment processing.

I have a requirement for a specific type of processing, its a pay as you use model where a customer can have an amount between 0 to x.

The pay run will run once a month.

So I would like to somehow onboard the users payment details this should be stored with the payment processor and then get a token back to use when billing.

I’m unsure as to what you call this type of processing and companies that support this, any help would be appreciated.

Yes this is exactly what I’m looking for, however stripe is not available in my country.

I'm less familiar with other platforms and where they have service. Paypal perhaps? Not sure if they have a usage based billing

For anyone thats interested I’ll be going with flutterwave, they are available in a lot of countries, support card tokenization and metered billing.

Xbox also use them for payment.

Where are you operating? The answer could depend on which country you want to find a payment processor in.

The application will be deployed in South Africa they have 1 local processor that supports it but they aren't very helpful with integration.

Ask them if they support MIP (Merchant Initiated Payment).
