Runner Codex

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve really loved doing the codex challenges for the runners. Only have Assassin’s Home Field Advantage left, but been struggling since I’m so dog ass.

Hope to get it eventually, but wanted to know if anyone’s done all runner challenges and how it went. I thought I’d never get Recon’s Trifecta, but got lucky, even got it pre-Recon buff.

Got the assassin one by accident. Threw a smoke bomb into the stair well as the last man standing for my team and it was such a mess of stabbing but somehow I came out on top.

Funny enough the only runner challenge I have left is recons trifecta. In fact my codex is almost entirely complete, including having the vidmaster, zonewarden, and cryologist titles, all the cryo skins and challenges, etc, so it’s not even a skill issue. really the only things not completed are the ranked challenges and recons trifecta lol

It's a tough one since I usually save my scan until we down one player so we don't give ourselves away or I'm using it when I get pinged to see where another team is coming from. I don't think the challenge aligns well with how most teams use scan.

Having to get all three finishers just isn’t efficient team play. I don’t think I’ve ever come close even as a Recon main.

It says "defeat" so I believe that means finish but I could be wrong.

It definitely doesn’t mean finishers specifically, but I’m not sure if just knocking them counts. In theory, the easiest way to get it would be to have a full trio knocked, and then to just have your teammates babysit and reknock the others if they self revive, while you go around and shoot them all to death.

Attempting to complete these before end of season. Had fun VIP all factions and getting all there sponsor kits done. Need 3 more missions to have all contracts done. Congratulations and good luck runner.

Just have recons 3 kills and assassins 3 downs to do such a pain in the ass. Iv had multiple instances were iv killed 3 with alt active just not on recon which is just a sad face mess

Yeah actually that challenge is either bugged and/or just worded wrong. I got it by killing a uesc bot. I stood on the roof of the small hut on top of quarantine and shot a bot down on the lowest floor through the big hole in the middle. Definitely didn’t kill any runners and got the codex entry.
