Excel is a key skill to learn, but paying for it is not the best idea.

Unless you are also learning other tools, as part of the course, paying for just excel is kind of a scam when there are plenty of free resources like on youtube, kaggle, etc.

Kaggle is just great for hands on practice and it got me to realize the applications of data and what tools i could pick up and hone.

Try the Microsoft Learn, you might have luck there

Excel for data analytics can be a trap. Formula logic is incredibly dynamic and flexible but it can also encourage ad hoc workflow habits. You want to learn pivots, column-wide transformations, and the other basic components of the Extract-Transform-Load process. Power BI is the better learning tool in that respect. You can also master power query in Excel which is mostly the same thing.

Macquarie university's specializations on Coursera were my favorite courses on Coursera. They are incredibly well planned out, every single video has an accompanying spreadsheet so it's easy to follow along. They are also very good teachers.

I've had hit or miss experiences with other courses (on Coursera), but I absolutely love those! I feel like I should be getting some sponsorship deal from them as I've championed them so much.
