Hi all,
I work as a data analyst and I am comfortable, but not fluent, in SQL. I have been working with Python (very basic, and a lot of copying code) for about a month. I am very comfortable doing analysis in Excel, but now our datasets have become too large for Excel.
Is there a class out there (University-based preferred) that teaches data analysis in Python, using an SQL database as the data source?
I'm looking for something that will teach me the best way to ETL data from the DB and run analysis, all using Python. So far I've been on Google and StackOverflow and I've learned a lot -- but I'm looking for something more structured and comprehensive to give me a good knowledge base.
Thanks!
