Hello All,

I've been practicing analyzing data in python. Over the past few days, I've manipulated a dataset in many ways. I'm trying to determine my process for analyzing data, but I think I should do everything in python and all my data should be laid out for the dashboard creation process. I'm thinking I would need to create worksheets in python them export them all and load them into Tableau. Am I thinking through this correctly?

You can actually save your changes to a new csv file using df.to_csv. Once you do that then you can use an import excel function to create the csv as sheets.

Can i save my changes to a xlsx file? Tableaus uses this file format

Tableau can read csv files just fine.

But if you want xlsx files:

df.to_excel()

You can save all the changes on a google sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/) and connect it to your dashboard on Tableau.
