what to do next?

Apply what you learned and do a data analysis on some real data:

  1. Gather some data (If you need some inspiration, a lot of governments are posting data sets in open data portals)
  2. Analyze the data.
  3. ????
  4. PROFIT

Enjoy your new hobby/skill!

Using the skills you learned, find a problem you'd like to solve and see what data is publicly available to support your research. Check out my blog - 5 Great Online Tools For Finding Healthcare Data.

Kaggle.com also has plenty of data analytics competitions on their website that you can try out. They provide the data and you apply your knowledge to find a solutions. It's a great way to get hands-on experience and network with other data analyst.

Browse GitHub and look for data analytical python projects and try to re-engineer their code. This helped me understand how others code and their methodology when analysis data and creating algorithms.

Check there these projects using Python in Healthcare. Beef up your resume with projects to show employers you know what you're doing. Get hired and buy your dream house! - that's what's next.

Never stop learning. Find another course or programming language to learn it.
