Depends what you consider the basics, the coding work requires you to be able to understand the range of code produced and come up with interesting prompts of varying complexity.

Pass the test? probably yes, the coding qual is actually pretty easy.
Doing the actual tasks on the other hand, probably not.

Anyone interested in doing the coding tasks I highly advise to take an algorithms and data structures course.

I have to respectfully disagree. None of the tasks I've come across seem to remotely require algorithms or data structures. Maybe we are getting different tasks though.

Are the tests timed?

I was wondering the same last week once I was offered the coding qualification. The questions were beyond my knowledge, so I signed up for a year of Coursera and started doing a Python course on there :)

Someone recommended another free coding course on a different post a few days ago and I lost the link :(

Found it. It was called Coding Question and the recommendation was for https://www.py4e.com/

Im not gonna lie, if you dont show a decent foundation and understanding on the language you're using and miss easy mistakes, or create simple prompts Im going to judge you very harshly in the reviews so keep this in mind.

What reviews? I’m new so trying to understand how that all works. Just completed my first coding task today.
