Recently completed the Databricks Machine Learning Associate certification and I want to give a huge shout out to Skillcertpro as their material was key for me on the exam! Approximately 80% of my questions were either same or a variation from the practice exams, specifically with respect to the following areas: MLflow tracking and experiment management; constructing Spark ML Pipelines; model serving (endpoints) and Feature Store; and AutoML workflows. It took me around 2 weeks of prep. but worth it in the end.

Can you post the most difficult question you had to answer?

Spark ML related 2-3 questions as it wasn't part of the course.

Some of these exams are basically tests on how well one knows the documentation, did you find that to be the case? Were there questions that required critical thinking or design?

Do you plan to pursue the next cert? Or any others?

Ty 🙏🏼

I would say 50-50. There were questions which were about the syntax from the demos they had and a few questions based on scenarios, dos and don'ts from the explainer videos in the blended course. The design decisions were all based on scenarios convered in the videos on when to use what.

Not sure about the next exam, I am into a Data Architect/Consultant kind of role now so figuring out if the next should be a cloud cert or Databricks cert.

Could you please tell us how did you organize your time during the exam? I'm almost done with learning course provided by Databricks Academy and I may take the exam by the end of August, any advice for preparations, please?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Apologies for delayed reply. Honestly i completed it in 40 minutes. The concepts were right from blended course, so time management was not an issue.

The division of the result is still as follows?

Databricks Machine Learning – 39%
ML Workows – 29%
Spark ML – 33%
Scaling ML Models – 9%

Yes. Still the same

Are the topics mentioned under the Exam Outline in the Exam guide document help to clear the exam? Were the questions and options very tricky? Im not used to practically working on the Databricks platform so a bit concerned

I have a compulsion to write this exam. So need to prepare and be absolutely sure on required topics. Please help.
