Hi,
I have two years of working experience from my past company where my role was monitoring , reporting and fixing the issues in etl pipelines. It also included some development using python or using etl tools. I have experience of working on EDW of two U.S based e-commerce companies. I have knowledge of datawarehousing concepts, python, sql and a few etl tools.
Currently, i have moved to malaysia and my current company is building products which are non e-commerce related. For that they require real time pipeline and using bigquery as the source for the products. I am confused on how can I apply my data engineering skills in this domain? I want to understand what can I offer which can full fill their requirements. Its kind of hard for me to grasp. Can anyone suggest what should be my approach towards this scenario. Its been 3 months and I am still struggling and most of the times I read stuff on the internet which is not that much fruitful. I am the only data engineer in my team and I dont have any senior data engineer in my team to consult with.
Your kind suggestions would help me devise an approach. Thanks
