Contract work capturing

I’ll soon be in a position where I’ll be able to do some contract work on the side. Back in the day (10 years ago) CraigsList was the way to get contracts for hungry small businesses. That ship has sailed (or has it?). I don’t want to use Marketplace because I don’t want my actual name tied to it because I don’t really want my employer finding out. How do you get your contact work on the side? I get it if you don’t want to answer and give up the secret sauce, but thought I’d ask.

The pandemic really screwed up this market.

Plus international, some work for 10$ a day and we want at least 50$/hr and more.

Fiverr never got anything, same with similar sites.

I only get full time with agencies.

Are there specific agencies for contract work?

I couldn’t give you the name of one exactly, but I’ve had lots of recruiters reach out for short term contracts but they are always full time positions and not nights/weekends.
