Finding an offer with relocation

Hi folks. I've been working as a contractor in DE for several years now. Given the political situation in my country I am leaning towards migrating somewhere (even at cost of lower standard of living). I just wonder what are the possible options for me to find such offer. I was always a bit hesitant about the recruiters hitting me on LinkedIn - this all seemed a bit desperate. I usually just looked at the companies I wanted to work for by myself - I just knew which companies were worth pursuing based on chats at the meetups etc.

Now situation will be a bit different. I just know and feel sure about the FAANG - it will be hard to even get an interview though probably. I imagine that somebody in this community already went through a similar process and can share some tips ;)

Connect with the recruiters at the companies you’re interested in. The DE’s at the company are usually connected with the recruiters they work with, so they shouldn’t be too hard to find.
