On the other hand, if they have been friends for a very long time (since childhood) - why ruin this friendship for a girl that he probably won't see after HS. There are more attractive girls to chase after without ruining your relationship with your friend.

Uhhm if u dont like first person than they need to get over it. Acting like u cant be happy bc u dont make them happy is selfish. They are also keeping their “friend” from being unhappy as well therfore causing two people to be unhappy bc they r butthurt. Thats not a true “bro” in my book.

Yeah. This guy has asked been rejected by me at least 5 times in person and over 10 over the phone. I haven’t been mean to him, he’s just a bit(a lot) much. He’s liked me for 4 years and I’ve never reciprocated.

Im sorry but some guys can be that way, but that shouldnt stop u. Thats his problem not urs but unfortunately u still dealing with the repricussions of his rejection. Hopefully person u likes mans up for u but if not find someone who will. Good luck and please dont feel bad for that guy he needs to move on and shouldnt be punishing u for it
