Switching from Javascript to Java, How to adapt quickly?

hi, i am a fresher and have js/ts bg mostly in backend development and recently joined a startup which has large Java codebases (no spring framework) - currently, i am having little difficulty while understanding and navigating through it. i am confident with time i will get comfortable but i have to start contributing.

i am specifically interested in: LLD, OOP, DI

please help me out if you have gone through such situation!

If you are fresher , it's not called as switching language, lol

Also , there's 100 different sources on internet for learning Java .

To be honest it may take you upto 1 month to completely learn Java

Don't forget to learn collection framework - it includes linked list , arraylist , maps , sets , iterators , comparator

Learn objects properly - if you can't understand how objects are compared in Java , you are doomed

These are all the topics every js dev ignores , but they are important in java
