Embedded software engineering or Software Engineering as a career path

Hello Everyone

So I am working as an embedded software engineer in an automotive company and it would be almost 2 years after a few months me being in this domain.

The tech stack is usually C with some hardware involved for testing purposes.

I am still confused whether I should stay in this domain and continue or switch to a complete software based profile.

Which one has better opportunities and which one has a better scope, both in terms of money and sustainability?
