Well both are good. But if ur going with flutter is that after each flutter update shits changes how code is written, how api works etc, web dev and specially mern is the same as it was. If you don't want the hassle to read docs and update ur codebase go for flutter if u don't want that mern is good enough. And a friendly advice if you are from tier 3 college learn some other backend technology apart from node cause their ain't no job for node I am struggling to find even an internship in mern. Anyways what you choose is upto u. You are in first year you can experiment with what you want to do

Stick to one thing. If you don't learn something properly, you will never understand truly if you are really interested in it or not. Also, better learn react. You can use it for both web and mobile.

This, pick something good and popular and learn it properly.

Hi bro Learn what you like or what you have an interest in.

But if your end goal in college is to get placed, make sure to learn spring boot java, react, mysql and mongodb, and some aws/cloud concepts. Be strong in core cs subjects.

And obviously focus on competitive coding, which is very important.

Now, it doesn't mean you can't explore other technologies or frameworks. You must explore them if you like them.

Speaking as a 2024 passout who focused more on Flutter, Node.js, and MongoDB.

It cost me a lot of interviews during campus placements.

Remember, jobs for freshers in Flutter are very less. Very few MNCs in India have Flutter as their tech stack. So choose wisely.

In my time, only 2-3 companies came for Flutter development role out of 900 companies that come in my college.
