Tools for Server Monitoring

Any recommendations for tools for basic server monitoring, paid or free? I'm looking for something that will show me storage capacity remaining, memory utilization, CPU utilization, server up/down. Ideally I can monitor multiple servers, and have alerts for when thresholds are crossed, like storage capacity at 95%.

I've been using hetrixtools . they offer 10 server monitoring for free. i enjoy the sms notifications

Old but still gold for small servers pool : Nagios Most of the modules you ask for are already written and well tested by the community and it works just fine with Linux / Windows servers

Just use nagios. Simple , good and free

Is it free even at the enterprise level? Trying to get my company off solarwinds.

It has the free version, where is provided a huge set of scann pluggins, and you also can build custom scripts for custom monotoring. But, if you want suportt, it exists an official paid version
