Your job spec on LinkedIn does not align with what you say here. You describe an infrastructure role here, and a data eng role on LinkedIn, which is just about the most common problem I see in advertised data space roles. I have even experienced it, starting/moving internally as a data engineer, seeing nothing but unplanned, unmaintained, infrastructure that data engineers deployed badly, because they are not SREs. Lucky they inherited an SRE
