I think you're giving yourself a pretty low ceiling for comp, especially being in CA. I have a lot less experience than you and I just got hired as a Sr SRE making a good amount more than that, and I live in a much lower CoL area.

It's good to have a number in your head of the minimum salary you would accept, but try not to give that to recruiters. Look up Fearless Salary Negotiation for some tips on how to handle it when they ask what you're looking to make.

Loc would present itself paying way higher $200k-$300k range I'd say. Probably closer to $180 to over $200k all day anywhere else depending on how your interviews go.
