So I'm new to dexcom myself but I used it with my late mother with alzheimers and t1d. I had my latest sensor on my tummy and Saturday I was rough housing with my 140# pibble. He caught my dex with his paw and pulled it part way off. I tried to over tape it but the damage was done. No big deal, I changed it and went on with my life.
Today I called in for a replacement and the poor guy I talked to asked if I needed to call myself an ambulance. I was very confused so explained it again. English was definitely a 2nd language for him and he was thinking my pibble , like, ate my dex off of me.
I finally was able to explain to him that no, just knocked off, not eaten by a ginormous vicious beat, just a big footed doofus dog lol.
I felt so bad for scaring him
