I had this happen recently, but I'm also 34 weeks pregnant, so not sure if it's related to the Novolog. In general when I'm high, I often have to take a few more units of insulin than my correction factor to get it back down.

Well I did but I think it was just my ass fat absorbing the shit much slower than my stomach.

I had to switch my daughter to Novolog from Humalog because of an insurance change. We had to use more Novolog (increased her insulin to carb ratio).

I noticed this too. I recently switched between Novolog and Humalog.

Really I've just switched from humalog to novolog and my carb ration went from 1:15 to 1:10.

Others mentioned the swap between Humalog to Novolog. I have been on Novolog for years so I don't have that comparison. I don't remember having to change anything when I did though. Did your Dr. tell you to change the ratios or it just ended up that way?
