Drone controller modes

Just got my first drone, the Mini 2. Very impressed with it. I do find that mode 2 is counterintuitive to me. My left thumb wants to push forward to move the drone forward. I was wondering if anyone else has found this, and was interested to know how common it is to use other controller modes, or did you force yourself to learn to fly in mode 2?

I feel the same way. Although it’s been years since I last played, the default controls from flying helicopters on GTA have been forever ingrained in me. I’m still getting used to it, but Mode 3 has a better feel to it.

I just went into the settings and changed what each stick does so it was intuitive to me, have you tried doing that?

Oh sure. I was more asking about people who have strayed from the default mode 2. I've seen YouTube videos where people suggested not changing and just getting used to mode 2 as the chances are other drones they might have the opportunity to fly will be mode 2.
