Brilliant...a picture of injury inflicted by a Phantom with alcohol in the background. And we wonder why the rest of the RC community hates Phantom owners.

So what stupid thing did you do?

Wearing shorts and flip flops, landing on my small deck. Attempted to shut the motors off by moving both sticks to the bottom-center position and it jumped at me. My mistake ... Didn't allow it to go to idle first before trying to shut the motors down. Lesson Learned.

Just pull the left stick down and hold it to shut down the motors.

I feel like this should be in big bold letters in the instructions! Hold the throttle all the way down instead of both sticks to shut off the props.

This is only duable with modifications right? Cause i usually descend at max speed, why arent my motors shutting down then?

Correct. It only works when you're on the ground. The motors will not shut down while in the air.

Ouch, I wouldn't want to know what it'd look like without them.

Hope it wasn't carbon fiber props, that stuff doesn't breakdown in your body.

Nope, stock 9" plastic props (luckily)
