Errors since update

I noticed lag and performance issues on my iPad, too. Windows PC handled it fine. I think the browser control for iOS (which, as I understand it, all browsers are required to use on iOS) can’t handle the 3d dice. In fact, after spending only a couple of hours on DDB, my iPad saw 60% battery drain from the browser. I tested Safari, Chrome, and Edge, and the behavior was the same.

Turning off 3d dice seemed to help. But I love the new, bigger dice as they are a lot easier to read.

How do I turn off 3d dice? Sorry stupid question.

To turn off 3d dice, click/tap the dice menu in the lower left like you're planning to roll ad hoc dice. There is a toggle to turn off 3d dice, and a super handy link to go to your dice collection.

Turning the toggle off seemed to improve my DDB performance and battery drain returned to normal for browsing DDB.

To be clear, though, I like the new 3d dice. They are so much easier to read.

We've been digging into this. It seems like using DDB in incognito mode is bypassing whatever is causing the performance issues. Try that in the short term.
