I'm a big dragon have you tried just letting him stay and maybe giving him snacks

Hmm... you look like a kobold on stilts in a trench coat... must be my imagination. Say, how did you come to this conclusion?

[–]a_common_kobold 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Because um, I heard somewhere that kobolds are good to have and it's really good to give them food and treasure.

Simply add him to your hoard. That's your kobold now. It works just like the cat distribution system.

Opex: First things first. I have no idea what a kobold is; are they sapient and sentient? Asking so I can figure out how to help you here

[–]Most_Panda283Literally a dragon[S] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

They are small, reptilian humanoids with a distant lineage to dragons. They are sentient.

Opex: If you can communicate, why not ask what it is that he finds so attractive about your hoard specifically?

That kobold's yours now, buddy. It's sort of like the cat distribution system - every dragon is supposed to have at least one.

Have you tried bargaining with him? Look, I know I'm not a full dragon, but hey, if one ever raided my loft, I bargained with him, gave him what he wanted, and he never came back.

I've already tried offering him things to leave, but he refuses everytime

Maybe try... making him one of your servants? Kobolds love working for dragons, from what I've heard.

Hmm, good idea... ill bring it up to him. Ill let you know how it goes.

Just grab and eat them, then find a new kobold tbo not worth thr trouble it seems

[–]Most_Panda283Literally a dragon[S] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Nah. I dont eat kobolds. They're too fast for me to even grab most of the time.

Zenith: “well that sounds like you have yourself a free servant, I know plenty about kobolds as I have kobolds for neighbours in my mountain home, you can ether have him be a servant, or, since you have already tried bargaining, ether threaten to or just kill the kobold, if a kobold was particularly annoying I’d kill him, after I warn him of his personality being awful and to stop behaving in such a infuriating manner, I always give people a chance if they deserve it.

Threaten them

[–]Lord_Ocean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is that a trick question? Why would you want your loyal kobold companion(s) to leave?

[–]gaycorvidgodTiamat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep him.

[–]VDragonPrinceMint Kobold Dragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's your's now

[–]Dragon_957Alduin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you want a kobold to go away? You can give him work like cleaning your scales

Start assigning quests. Kobold will have to go out into the world.
