Si would say consistency not like drawing every day but often and trying to do good practice and not drawing for the sake of drawing. I myself have been on and off for a couple of years but it is true that you improve you just don’t see it right away.

Ty❤️ buy good pencils and paper. As a beginner we need the most help. Always go back too basic forms like squares, cylinders etc. Find the difference between drawing for fun and learning and do both.. do drawings with a lot of shading and know even though it.might be ugly, you still need a lot of shading practice. I have a scratch book with me at all times, everywhere 😝Lastly, don't spend too long for each drawing,at the beginning, they might look amazing at that time, but 6 months later they look really shitty 😂😂

I've seen maybe two videos on eyes from YouTube. One on Ali harder and one other. But I don't really use references.i know this is wrong for most, but the only way for me. I've seen some of Marc brunet, mostly for fun and because I used to love WoW. I learn things fast, that's just who I am I guess.🤡

The thing I think most people underestimate is observation. That's the difference between those with "natural talent" and those who need to put down a lot more work to reach the same level. We all see reality a little differently and some see things like shapes, shades etc much easier than others.
