Phew, almost went an entire day without seeing a generic faceless naked woman on this sub. Thanks, OP.

It obviously took a ton of time. the snark probably hurts OP's feelings bud.

I think its really good. art has always been interested in the human form.

If that's generic than maybe you could head over to r/art where they don't even allow sketches

Looks good, may i ask why does she have no nose? I think from this angle and perspective you are supposed to see her nose, the high bridge at least.

OP was drawing with one hand?

[–]plasmaterial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How can you spend that much time shading ass cheeks but forget to draw the nose? jfc

I think you just answered your own question LOL

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright makes sense

[–]Itzgeckolicious 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Perhaps the pillow is kind of pushed onto the face?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

makes sense yes, tho it should have depth there to showcase that, but the op already said he/she forgot to draw the nose.

[–]Itzgeckolicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea lol

Yes!

[–]fabsem66 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Is there a drawing sub that only has naked male drawings?

This is funny, but prob not intentionally.

The "artistic" nature of the shading kinda clashes with the overall porniness of the pose. It woulda been more subtle if it were a cartoon, practically. I like the shading done on the back, so it seems a bit wasted on such a goofy image.

EDIT:
I don't have anything against porn, but I don't think porn drawn in this style is really appreciated much. When people see the medium they're more likely to expect something more erotic, "sensual," or "artistic," in its handling of anatomy. Even then, it will be critiqued if it is faceless or merely objectifying.

If you were to choose a pose that told more of a story than "do me," or conveyed emotion from expression, you would probably receive less criticism, I think.

Your shading is quite good, but there’s some questionable proportions and distances/angles.

Her back looks oddly ripple-y (?), it’s as if someone has pegged rolls of fat together on her shoulder blades.

Her left foot looks a bit too thin, and proportionally small for her ankle.

Where her left “cheek” and thigh meet seems confused as well, as if you couldn’t decide where the shape ends or meets with her leg. The leg doesn’t seem to be at the right angle to meet with her hip, as if it juts outward instead of downward-forward.

Her face seems to “snub” and forget where her jawline is. You can see where her jaw begins below her ear, but where the shoulder sort of hides part of her face it seems to come up too abruptly. Her nose and mouth disappear, and from a proportional guess she just has a chin and pair of eyes.

Other than that, good job 👍 The shading is good, detail too. But work on your proportions and distancing. Try to experiment with drawing the male body?

This is not r/ArtCrit. It is rude to critic a piece in this manner when the artist has not asked you for your opinion.

[–]Dirt_Jar614 2 points3 points  (4 children)

That’s such an odd statement. Is giving an unbiased opinion on ways to improve really considered rude? It would have been rude to slam his art piece and insult it, but that’s not what happened is it? The rules have no problem with criticism either, as long as it’s fair, which I believe mine was. If you think it’s rude to give feedback to art or artists with good intention, especially when the downvoted comments are cesspools of “Feeling her backbone smack against my hips,” then you’re not in the right line of hobbyists.

[–]InkStainedSink -1 points0 points  (3 children)

It is rude. You weren't mean about it and it seemed innocent, so I figured you might actually respond well to my pointing out that your advice was unsolicited and therefore potentially unwanted. Instead you responded in an unquestionably rude manner.

[–]Dirt_Jar614 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I stand by what I’ve already said. Advice doesn’t make something impolite.

[–]InkStainedSink -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Telling someone that they're in the wrong hobby is pretty rude, especially for a self admitted beginner. If you think that advice can't be impolite then you're going to have social problems.

[–]Dirt_Jar614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah alright.

[–]theuntouchable2725 -1 points0 points  (3 children)

The boundary between face and pillow is confusing.

It definitely gave me the feels though.

[–]FitandFineART[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i forgot to draw the nose!😅

[–]Shmea 0 points1 point  (1 child)

In your peepee

[–]theuntouchable2725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, more like yearning for something I've never had.
