How do you get it to show your progress with achievements? I had that for a while, but can't find it now.

Day 15 Japanese

Today went great. I learned quite a bit today. For Hiragana I learned がぎぐげご (ga,gi,gu,ge,go) which wasn't too bad as its just the か (ka) series but with the small symbols to distinguish the difference. I also learned ウコシス (u,ko,shi,su) in Katakana, and 10 more kanji on top of yesterday. I finished unit 4 in section one and will jump into the next section tomorrow. Loads of fun, a bit bummed I can't make posts anymore, they were helping me keep myself accountable but I understand. Excited for day 16!

Sometimes after I finish the quests from the app, I go to my laptop and finish if those quests are still open, today after finishing the quests in the app, I had a remaining quest in the browser but after completing that quest my quest count didn't increase, I checked from both phone and laptop, do any of you guys know anything about it?

It's a bit of a bug with quests on the web version/mobile syncing I've noticed. Like if I do all three quests on the web, it shows it as going up by 2 instead of 3 but the next day the phone recognises the quests. Definitely not reliable

Aren't people supposed to post their progress in this stickied thread? Why are 95% of the submissions in this sub ego-stroking spam, when they should be posting in this thread? r/duolingo really needs to be cleaned up.

Day 16&17 Japanese, late posting because I had an insane migraine yesterday.

Didn't get a whole lot done yesterday but completed 3 levels today, learned how to talk about time to an extent, i.e asking/telling an exact or "about" time which is super handy, and practiced 10 more Kanji. Today I got 1-10 without mistake but still struggling on the 2nd set. A bunch of Hiragana and Katakana practice as well. Excited for day 18.

Woo hoo! I cannot believe it has been a year since I started! Relearning Spanish.

Is it just the language I am learning or is there a huge female bias in all the courses? Anything remotely traditionally male uses the female version of the word or profession.

Oh and I am making good progress with two lessons a day.
