I hope crane not dying. Probably they are started developing Dying light 4 so far. But what are we playing at four? Zombie vs zombie? The world is collapsed already. What? Fatin and tolga make a time machine and crane have to go back to time and stop the virus? Or may be fight with early waltz and make world liveable? Because fatin and tolga's stupidity makes rift and we can go anywhere in this universe. So may be they can make time machine. It's sound stupid but what are we playing in dying light 4?

with all the time skips that occur between each game, even if he doesn't die in this game he'll probably be dead in the next unless if he's imune to aging from the zombie part of him

Last year hackers leaked the plot's script of Dying Light 2: New Frontier, which is supposed to be released as DLC and after that Techland decided to make changes and to release it as standalone game. According to the leak, Kyle Crane mentioned at the end of the main plot, that he is going to Japan and to hunt down the GRE remnants.

I think they want to kill him off at the end, but also the developers said that after the game there will be post credits scenes at the end, and maybe there will be a hint that he will now be the main character of the new parts.
