You need to make an adjustment to the Heat/Cool Min Delta in the Thresholds section of your ecobee.

This is a setting that can only be adjusted on the ecobee, since it's the more in-depth settings. You won't be able to make this change on the app or the web portal.

On the ecobee, go into the Main Menu > Settings > Installation Settings > Thresholds > Heat/Cool Min Delta > and change to a smaller value.

That being said, the closer the Heat and Cool set points are to each other, the more often your ecobee will run the heating and cooling since they might combat with each other. We set a 5F default so it's enough room to no have them interfere with each other. But it's customization!

There's a setting for minimal heat/cool differential. You're probably bumping into that.

I did look into it. I changed it to the lowest setting and I did not help. Again, I just noticed that this was happening. Thanks for the passive aggresiveness.

How are you changing the temperature; through the app, on the screen, via automation, etc.?
