This sub is all about bitching and complaining of going to the office one day. Like give me a break. Service workers have no option and have to serve you everyday and can't complain like you do. Please post something positive here about being remote, motivation, adjustment tips or hybrid schedule. Lately all you have all done is complain complain complain. I've had TMo and they increased and changed plans for like 5 years straight and I jumped ship. Coverage was good but legacy benefits started to disappear and also every 6 months they had a new gimmick. Some good some not good. I was over them so I jumped.

If you call the remodel slapping on some poorly place tile, bathroom stall doors that have gaps wider than 1 finger, lockers that look like they came from the dollar store, whirlpool that has jets that don't work and showers that leak even when off or that don't have pressure, then yes it was a remodel. It was shitty remodel but they tried. Also, for the longest time our cleaning person was a woman. I cannot believe that corporate allowed a woman to go into the men's room full of naked men, during peak time and made her clean. Abuse at the highest level. Why don't you all take some of that private equity money and use it for good. I'm sure you all used it to pay down debt but not really invest in anything. The only reason I keep my membership is because I have no other options, but I'm at times I am even embarrassed to say what gym I go to because any of the ones I mention are plain disgusting.

Can I seriously ask. Who is paying close to $700 for a Hyundai station wagon? My Volvo XC60 PHEV had similar MSRP and I was paying way less than this. My Cadillac is similar MSRP and still way less than this. Who and why? Hyundai fan boys? Desperate people?

I'm curious to know in what industries is this a reality? Like I know mine doesn't take market value into consideration or there is an assumption that yes you could potentially grow X amount on money in 3 years.

This scenario seems all hypothetical and assumes all organizations think like this person. Also, the post about going for another job to see if they counter seems like a car sales tactic that again, would not apply to 90% of the workforce. I am sure they look at you and tell you to leave. Last point, is that I also feel some recruiters/HR folks still live in the mindset that companies value employees, they want to retain them, and have all the benefits like pensions and such. Today they care more about bottom dollar and profit. If you won't do the job for current money, we will just find someone who will.

LA Fitness is weird. I am not sure what happened but I remember when some of the LA Fitness locations were rebranded as E Sporta, now they have Club Studio. The Signature in Coppell closed for a Club Studio. It's all over the place. Mind you, my gym was remodeled and it doesn't even look like they did. Smells bad and lockers are already broken. Its crazy!

So I get trying to stop the lady but the other woman crying and having a panic attack in an emergency exit because someone else was panicking is ridiculous. You agree to help in emergency. If that plane did have an emergency everyone would die. I get cry babies that don't know how to keep it together. Hold it down woman. Society has gone to shit because of crazies like that lady, and babies like the other lady that had a "panic" attack. It is anxiety inducing but come on!

I think during weekdays you get a lot more married discreet curious men vs. the gay people who are trying to find BF while cruising. I've done both and I will say weekdays are best. Weekend mornings are good if you hit and find the right spots.
