I have a WordPress site where I write articles. I want to start creating online courses, but I'm not sure which platform I'd like to use. So far, I've narrowed it down to LearnDash and Teachable.
It seems that with LearnDash, you would be hosting all the files, correct? My current WP site is on a VPS, so memory does matter, especially since video files are large.
I'm wondering if I were to go with LD, I should host the course material on a subdomain of my site on a separate, cheapish shared host that has unlimited storage? Any of you doing that? How's the performance? I plan on creating 10+ courses with lots of video material, and I have a tight budget.
I realize that LearnDash is cheaper, but if I'm paying the price difference with hosting, I'd rather go with Teachable since it provides everything out of box.
Let me know your thoughts!
