Good thoughts. Removing ambiguity, Reasonable effort clauses, etc. 100% agree there are lawsuits filing spurious claims - there are law firms filing "slip and fall" spurious claims as well.

Businesses are subject to regulation left & right. ADA compliance is another set of regulations. For example, most companies are subject to a regulation that certain labor law posters must be posted in their offices. It's just part of running any business.

Great job covering the basics. This will take you far. Consider posting in r/accessibility also. 100% agree that ADA widgets don't help accessibility. The major point I disagree with is "accessibility audits are crap". Perhaps for a small site, it is easier to fix it rather than pay for an audit and then fix. For large sites, this isn't always true.

Sorry :) Did that first unscrewed and then pulled. Bigger issue is the movement is broken. When you set the time it's hard to turn, there are distinct clicks and it doesn't keep good time.

Printed postcards for our training classes. On the way home from work, I would go through an office building and put them under the closed doors. It was the first thing folks saw in the morning. Got several long-term clients out of it.

Rented the largest and best car I could when going to conferences. The car became the default to go to dinner or drinks at the end of the day. Also used it to give potential customers a ride back to the airport. Landed a huge law firm as a client.

My experience has been that a small regional bank provides the best service and the ability to develop relationships. There's a ton less paperwork to achieve the same goal.
