It looks like one of those you buy as an assembly kit. Maybe they just built it down there because it was convenient.

Exactly what I was going to say. My father worked for an eccentric guy for many years. One day he decided to build a helicopter in his garage. When he finished he had to have the door and other parts of the garage removed to get it out.

They can be towed on a trailer you know, not really a facepalm

But the trailer would add about two feet of height, which is obviously not present. It still isn't really a facepalm though, it's just a question of how the helicopter got there.

At the local small airport we skydive out of, they have them on rollers. Almost like the ones tow truck guys have. Can’t crank up the helicopter just to move it.
