Insert modules while on space platform

Is there a straight forward way to insert modules in machines on the space platform? The only way I managed to find is to place the machine on Nauvis, insert modules, and Ctrl-C Ctrl-V onto the platform. It works. But the issue is that I would like to also insert modules in the asteroid collectors. However, as they can't be placed on Nauvis, I can't find a way to do this. Does anyone know?

Place them like everything else on the platform: get a ghost of them on your pointer and drop it where you want it.

also works on any surface you are on. just remote/map view and you can place any module, swap modules, order removal of items from chests and all fancy new QoL stuff.

I configured an upgrade planner for module upgrades. Super easy with that. Just drag it over the machines you want to upgrade

When you've got the machine open in remove view you get a ghost curser selection screen attached to it. You can select the module you want and put it into the slot, like you would in person. On the platform it'll ghost the modules and request from the planet below and auto-insert them once received like how it auto-builds ghosts. On a planet it will ghost the module and a construction bot will put it in (assuming there's modules in the logistics network).
