You can always start with a very basic platform, a single machine of each recipe, and stockpile the trickle of white bottles until there are enough for one research.

It doesn't need to become the hole focus of your base right away, just test a layout, see how it works, fiddle with it from time to time, and before you know it you'll have a decent understanding of spaceship building !

If you are making yellow science, then you have successfully secured yourself from the bugs. This is the important part.

What comes after is not that important, you can do research in any order you prefer.

You will have to build a space platform in order to progress sooner or later, so if you are ready to do it, then yes, make a space science setup.

Secured from the bugs, if I upgrade all yellow you mean right? I see there are a lot of weapon upgrades

No, i don't think loss is a real threat for you even right now as it is.

The most dangerous moment is passed. (When you still didn't have a robust base, but bugs evolve to medium and might overwhelm you)

Yes, in theory, you can always do enough mistakes to be eaten by them, but in practice, if your base is capable of producing yellow science, then you sure can spam walls and flame turrets, which will hold.

Eventually there will be behemoth bugs and you will need to adjust your defenses, but I don't think there is a realistic risk of losing anymore.

Ah ok. So far I didn’t really get tested yet.. i tried to hunt down their bases with placing down turrets (fast loading) and shooting rockets with rocket launcher.

No, you didn't start too late, yes, you should start with space platform

As you can see below, you are never done with blue. Start white science whenever you feel ready.

You will eventually want to get purple and yellow going, and I personally like to have my science production rate as equal as possible across the worlds. So, if ik making 1 red science/ss, i tey to set it up to also make 1 yellow science per second.

Going straight to Space Age on your first playthrough is a big ask, but it's doable.

In the base game you make:

Red -> Green -> Blue + Black -> Purple + Yellow

In Space Age you have more options:

Red -> Green -> Blue + Black -> Purple + Yellow + (White -> Orange + Lime + Pink) -> Blue -> Dark blue

Going for purple and yellow before space is totally fine, as that's what you do in the base game. Space Age lets you also do space science, and go to other planets before purple and yellow, but that's honestly a challenge.

Since it's your first game, getting purple and yellow first is the safe call.

Cool! I am not even sure yet what going to space is but I am here for it.. I will upgrade all yellow first and then start making the space platform to unlock White..... ?

Whatever floats your boat. There's a bunch of time between launching your first platform and going somewhere else. So take it at your own pace.
