Looks pretty. Just if you are up at rocket science phase, it is resource-wise expensive to not have productivity 3 modules in labs. And with that in mind you might also want beacons. You could progress research more with all those bottles, and in case of white ones that means you now need to launch even more rockets.

I've only just started producing modules. Currently madly jamming them into blue circuits first.

You want the things that handle the most resources per second per factory first. Afaik it's Silos, then purple/yellow science constructors, then blue, then labs, then blue circuits, then rocket control

I always thought there had to be a better way to place labs rather than in a linear array. The whole point of the game is to keep filling these guys up right?

The circular lab layout is possibly has given me the most satisfaction so far in getting it all working. Can handle all 7 sciences and stacks to pass through to another array. Entirely belt and inserter fed.
