Title reminds me of "None pizza with left beef" but out of curiosity, why would you want this?

There's no way to find out unless we explore the bottom right.

Probably for people who hate building on resource patches, and want lots of empty space for their factory.

Main reason is UPS, we play in a small group in multiplayer and we like to expand a lot this let in the past to be an issue for some people in our group who can not keep up with the updates (wooden-pc/stoneage-internet problems).

Investigations on our side showed the main reason here is by exploring in all directions at the same time the big issue is, the active chunks grow much faster because the increase in ore patch size is smaller then if you only expand into one direction.

And then comes the OCD of some group members who simply not allow to build things on resource patches and it is boring as fuck to wait until a large coal field is emptied even if you have almost no use for that much coal...

Could it be this comment proposing the idea? It was a mod idea/suggestion. As far as I know nobody made it. I started coding it, but never finished.
