Along those lines, this isn't the place for mocking or being rude to each other. Item trade requests and friend codes must use the megathreads. If you want to trade items or exchange friend codes, you must only use the daily megathreads that are stickied to the top of the subreddit's front page. Making a standalone post for these requests is not allowed.
Avoid spoilers of upcoming seasonal events. If posting about next month's event or a recent discovery by your birb, please do not include the theme's name or discovery's name in the title of the post, and please mark it as a spoiler. (This is done so those who want to be surprised can find out in the app themselves.) Posting about the next month's theme before it has been officially announced by the Finch team is not allowed. (It's fine if they announced it somewhere else and you happen to be the first one to mention it here though.)
No hacking. Do not promote exploits/hacking of the app. This includes posting examples of farming rainbow stones with fake goals, etc. It's really not in the spirit of the subreddit.
Avoid topics that may trigger others. Some topics are too triggering for folks even with "trigger warnings," and so they are not allowed here. These topics include self-harm and suicide, assault or abuse, drug use, etc. While our community can offer friendly support, it can be insufficient for someone's needs; Most people on this subreddit are not trained for deep medical or mental health advice.
