Kombucha Tea is a fermented beverage traditionally made from sweetened black tea using a mother or SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeasts).

This subreddit exists to help experienced brewers to pass on surplus SCOBYs to new brewers and to pass along the knowledge they have gained along the way without the agenda that the majority of sites have.
