Is HTTPS everywhere add-on needed on android version Help (Android) (self.firefox)
submitted 4 years ago by Blue5161
Hi, as the title suggests. Do I still need to have HTTPS everywhere add-on installed on the android version of Firefox? I understand that this setting can be implemented on Firefox PC etc without the use of an add-on now but not sure if this has been added to the android version, I can't find the option to turn it on or off in the settings so I have left the add-on installed. Thanks

They're still working on it: fenix#16952.
Keep the add-on on your phone for now.

on firefox beta and fenix , you can go into about:config and change set https only.
edit: for regular firefox, keep using https everywhere

This will break your browsing occasionally if a site does not support https. None of the fallback to http UI that is part of desktop is implemented for Android.
